Mission

The Kheprw Institute works to develop, implement, provide and support culturally-oriented programs and services that address and promote the educational, social, cultural and economic welfare of African Americans and individuals of African descent. We seek to equip African people with information, skills, knowledge, experiences and a positive sense of self that enables them to succeed in their lives and make a positive contribution to their families, communities and the world.

 To accomplish our mission, We the Kheprw Family:

·         will establish and maintain a high standard of professional excellence, quality service and organizational efficiency.

·         will strive to create a organizational culture that empowers and engages its staff, participants and board members as partners in the growth and development of the Institute.

·         will strive to implement programs and services that are relevant and effective.

·         will recognize, acknowledge and regularly communicate to staff and volunteers appreciation for the importance of the work they do, their commitment and their dedication.

·         will strive to create an environment that encourages individuals to examine where they are, recognize their potential and reach for the possibilities.

·         will encourage, support and actively engage in the positive development of our youth.

Programs

School of Tehuti – encourages and assists African American male youths in high school with low or average grades to improve their academic performance.

KI ReStore – a social enterprise that provides employment, work readiness, entrepreneurial exposure and revenue to support the organization.
